IKK Whitstable is a family friendly local karate club based at Swalecliffe Community Primary School in Whitstable. We moved to this new location in 2020 and it is now the clubs permanent home within the catchment area of Herne, Herne Bay, Chestfield & Swalecliffe, Whitstable and the surrounding area.
The club is predominantly run by father and daughter Sensei Kevin and Senpai Emily, as well as Senpai Mel and John, who both began training after their children joined the club. We enjoy a great relationship with the parents of our junior students, who we have formed strong bonds with over the years.
We offer training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays to suit students of all ages, ranging from 6 years and up. These lessons run throughout the year only breaking up for two weeks over Christmas and New Year.
Our club also supports the IKK social and competitive events around the calendar.
